Well today was a bit of a roller-coaster as to what we needed to get done. We were phsyched to get going and put our list together. Then there was the... "Wow" there's so much but what needs to get done now. Then, the... "Yes, I completed something new", followed by the "Dang it, I can't keep doing that throughout the house because something else actually needs to be done before that." However, we pulled through on a high note by getting the last of the sheetrock up and the wires pulled through. It's amazing how long it takes to measure, cut and hang drywall properly. And why didn't the little elves show up before we did and finish it for us??? Maybe because it's house remodeling and not shoe making. And yes, it's remodeling... I hesitated when we started to call it that because it sounded like too much and neither one of us are handy. However, we keep adding to the list the things we have done, so we may as well call it what it is. HOUSE REMODELING. Hopefully today we will prep for using the hopper to apply knockdown texture to the ceilings in the rooms and the kitchen. Also, we need to finish mudding the new drywall. If everything goes well, we could be painting or laying tile next weekend or putting cabinets together if they arrive. Jennifer was cute my marking all over the new wall with a marker: )
