Nov 11th Lets apply some knockdown to the Ceiling

Today was long, hard, frustrating, yet successful. Jennifer was off work for Veteran's Day so she threw herself into getting the hopper (the gun used to spray the mud on the ceiling) ready. After, a leaky, broken hopper was returned to home depot and a new one was obtained, now the exact science of mixing the mud began : ) Let's just say I received a few phone calls while in my office from Jennifer during the process. One piece of advice if you do it... Throw the directions out the window! Go with your gut and get your hands into the mud and find the right mixture. That's when I showed up, just in time to take Jennifer's hard work and see the magic. The two of us textured the 2 spare rooms, the hallway, the entry-way and the kitchen in about 4.5 hrs. The set up was the tough part, which was already done by the time I got there. You can see the before and after pictures. They're of the ceiling so don't think we are horrible photographers.
